The Dive Animals Scuba Club is a very active dive club in San Diego.  We are the only club to own and operate its own boat, a 19 foot Wellcraft.  It is available to all members of Dive Animals for dive trips to the local wrecks and kelp beds.  We also enjoy regular organized dive trips locally, regionally and internationally. This is the San Diego-based SHARK PROTECTORATE (A focus group of Power Scuba) . We are a pro-Shark Finning ban/Shark Fin Soup ban site. We support AB 376 in the state legislature as a bill whos time has arrived. The sale, use, and possession of shark fin must be banned. More generally, we are involved in the overall conservation of the many shark species currently in trouble.
